In conjunction with our sister company, Keswick Post Office, we are pleased to offer a mailing house service where bulk mailings can be handled from start to finish. Established in 1995 KesSort will handle about 300,000 items this year. Our service includes

Polywrapping

Instead of using envelopes why not try our polywrapping service. Polywrapping is suitable for a variety of applications and is much less expensive than C4 paper envelopes. This method also allows for the bright coloured insert to show through clearly on the outside thus ensuring the letter is not indiscrimately discarded.

Mailing Discount

Volume mailings qualify for a postage discount which can be substantial. Our experience shows that often the postage discount will be more than the charges for providing the service. The discount varies depending on the distribution of the database but can be as much as 22%.

Our Costs

Our costs are made up of various aspects of the particular job eg the weight of the item, whether collating is required, the volume of the mailing and so on. Accordingly we quote specifically for each job.

Special Feature

In applying postage stamps instead of a frank we find envelopes get opened and are not discarded at first sight. The envelopes are addressed personally and contain a stamp and thus rise to the top when the recipient is opening mail. Additionally this is almost the only way of obtaining a Keswick cancellation on the stamp (rather than the normal  Dumfries & Galloway cancellation).
